This just in...

Alfred Yankovic, who prefers not to have anybody refer to him as "Weird Al"
anymore, has notified Bermuda and the band and all the Al fans worldwide
that he is retiring from the funny music and parody genre in order for him
to concentrate on a serious new format.

Yes, Alfred Yankovic has been recording songs with country artists such as
Dwight Yoakham, Merle Haggard, The Oak Ridge Boys, Shania Twain, Reba
McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, and Billy Ray Cyrus (whose song was parodied by Al
himself) recently in Nashville, TN in order for Al to debut as a serious
country music artist featuring duets with many top country singers today.

Look for his new country album to be released sometime...

today....
